After completing an earnest money request using the Earnnest app, your client will receive an email to pay their earnest money. If your homebuyer didn't see the email request or it has been a few days and they have not responded, you can send a friendly, personalized reminder via text message directly from your phone number. That way, your client knows the message is coming from you. A personal message from you helps them know this is the next step in their home-buying process.
Resend your request via text message:
- Inside a request that you have already emailed to the buyer, tap Resend
- Tap Send as text message
- Your text message application will launch with a pre-populated message reminding your client to complete their earnest money request.
Pro tip: After sending the emailed request feel free to go ahead and add on the text request for good measure to keep your transaction moving forward.
