Enable ACH inbound
Earnnest uses ACH transfers to deposit into the account(s) you register with us. If ACH inbound is not enabled before you register your account(s) with us, you will not receive deposits from Earnnest.
Enabling ACH inbound involves a brief phone call with your bank to request they activate the ACH inbound feature on your account(s). Downloadable ACH inbound instructions are available here.
Why ACH inbound must be enabled
- -ACH inbound is needed to register your account.
In order to register your bank account(s), we make two micro-deposits into the account(s) to verify it. You will need to find these micro-deposits and enter the two amounts into our system to complete registration. If ACH inbound is not enabled, the micro-deposits will not reach your account(s), and you will be unable to verify the amounts and complete account(s) registration.
- -ACH inbound is needed to receive earnest money deposits.
In order to receive earnest money deposits from homebuyers, you must have ACH inbound enabled on your registered bank account(s). If ACH inbound is not enabled, then your account(s) cannot receive payments.
