Once you register escrow accounts with Earnnest, you can set up earnest money requests within the Earnnest app. When the homebuyer completes your requested payment, the money will be deposited into your firm's escrow account and receipts will be sent to all interested parties.
Watch this video to learn how to register for an individual account as an escrow holder:
- From the home screen of the Earnnest app, enter your email address and click "Continue" to receive a one-time-use code to the email you provided. In order to ensure security, this code will expire in 5 minutes. There is no need to keep your one-time use codes for your records. Each time you log into our system a new code will be generated and sent to your email address to ensure a secure session.
- Now you're ready to set up your personal Earnnest account by entering your first and last name, email address, and phone number. Then click Create.
- Next, select the option to "Register as an individual". With an individual account you will be able to request earnest money payments from homebuyers. You do not need to register as a business, because your company — whether a law firm, title company or escrow holding brokerage — has already enrolled your firm as a business and registered the appropriate escrow accounts. Click, "Continue."
- And that's it! You are now registered and ready to start requesting digital earnest payments. Click, "Begin" to start your first request.
